What is phishing?

Cybercriminals are attacking health care systems at higher rates than ever before. These attacks often begin with a simple email where cyber criminals trick their victims into revealing information like usernames and passwords, or downloading malicious software, which then allows them greater access into a health care organization’s networks, even patient care systems. The technique is called phishing.

Report Phishing

Report suspicious emails by clicking the “Report Spam” button on your Outlook toolbar or forward the email to phishing@kp.org. (Do not install Microsoft Outlook add-ins.)
